Recently, Shanxi Fiber Inspection Bureau found out unqualified sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath towels and other hotel textile supplies, the reasons for failure are pH exceeded.
In the first quarter of 2010, the Shanxi Provincial Bureau of textile inspection carried out regular supervision and routine supervision and inspection to the public textile products of all hotels, hotels, restaurants, hospitals and bathing centers.
The main items of supervision and inspection are filler quality, pH value, odor, formaldehyde content, color stain, towel hair removal rate, water absorption and so on.
From the sampling results, pH exceeded the standard phenomenon accounted for more than 90% of the unqualified items.
The excessive pH value of public textiles will not only stimulate the skin, but also make the bacteria invade human skin and endanger human health.
The main reason why the pH value exceeds the standard or the color stain is not qualified is caused by non-standard washing.
Some operators in order to save costs, the use of poor detergents or detergents in the process of washing is too alkaline, rinse is not thorough, washing procedures are unreasonable, resulting in a large number of residual detergent on textiles, resulting in excess pH value, dirty cleaning is not clean.
